Jack Krugman
Founder/Director/French Horn
Jack Krugman is a Horn player located in the Boston area. He graduated from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a bachelor's degree in French Horn Performance, where he studied with Eli Epstein. Following his undergraduate degree, Jack returned to Boston Conservatory to pursue a Performance Diploma under the guidance of Anne Howarth. An active performer, Jack has held principal and section positions with ensembles such as the New England Philharmonic and Boston Civic Symphony. He has also performed as a substitute horn with the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra, Colorado Symphony Orchestra, and Plymouth Philharmonic. As a soloist, he was featured in the 2023 season with the Horizon Ensemble, performing Benjamin Britten’s Serenade for Tenor, Horn, and Strings. Outside of playing the Horn, Jack enjoys spending time with his cat, Moby.

Reynolds Martin
Trumpet
Heralded for his "fantastic sound and blend," Reynolds Martin is a trumpet player located in Boston, Massachusetts. Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, Martin attended Interlochen Arts Academy and earned degrees from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and the New England Conservatory of Music. Currently, he is in the process of earning his Doctorate of Musical Arts from Boston University. Martin has played with the Kentucky Symphony, Bangor Symphony, the Boston Philharmonic, and Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestras, as well as numerous collegiate ensembles. Martin is a sought-after educator, having served as Professor of Trumpet at the Tallant Music Studio, and is committed to aiding his students grow their abilities as both trumpet players as successful artists.

Jafet Diaz Martin
Trumpet
Born in Panama, Jafet Díaz Martin is a versatile trumpeter, educator, and arranger currently pursuing the Doctor of Musical Arts in Trumpet Performance at Boston University. He is a former fellow of the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and previously served for three years as a member of the Panama Municipal Symphonic Band. Jafet has appeared as a guest musician with the Palm Beach Symphony, the Bangor Symphony Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra of Panama, and the Panama Jazz Festival Big Band. He has also shared the stage with artists such as Yuja Wang, Emmanuel Ax, Adrianne Warren, Aoife O’Donovan, Maelo Ruiz, and Willy Chirino. In 2020, he was a finalist in the Next Generation Trumpet Competition, and in 2023 he won First Prize in the National Society of Arts and Letters Collaborative Piano and Brass Duo Competition. He holds degrees from the Lynn University Conservatory of Music and the University of Panama. Jafet is a Yamaha Ambassador Artist and Latin American Music Workshop Artist. Robert Adams
Trumpet
Born in Sydney Australia, Robert Adams is a classical trumpet player. He started learning from his mother at age 6 and has remained dedicated ever since. Upon finishing his high school studies, Robert applied to the University of Sydney and was given a generous scholarship to study under the tutelage of Andrew Evans. Robert then accepted an offer from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee for a fully funded Masters in Music, studying trumpet with Steve Emery, which he received in 2023. Currently he is working full time as the Brass Specialist at Virtuosity Musical Instruments in Boston.

Aidan Davidson
Tenor Trombone
An active trombonist in the Boston Area, Aidan is a versatile musician that enjoys creating great music with others. He has performed with groups such as the Metrowest Symphony Orchestra, Brookline Symphony, Horizon Ensemble, and was a member of the New England Philharmonic Orchestra as Principal Trombone. Aidan graduated from Boston Conservatory at Berklee, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Trombone Performance where he studied with Larry Isaacson and Norman Bolter. Aidan is continuing his education at New England Conservatory where he is pursuing a Master’s degree with Steve Lange of the BSO.

Sean McCarty
Bass Trombone
Sean McCarty, a Boston-based freelance Bass Trombonist since 2017, holds a bachelor's degree in Bass Trombone Performance from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. He has performed extensively with Symphony New Hampshire, Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, New England Philharmonic, and Boston Civic Symphony. Sean's versatility spans jazz with Latin Logic and the Berklee Faculty Big Band. Mentored by Angel Subero for 5 years, he excels across genres including orchestral, pop, funk, and jazz. Beyond music, Sean enjoys rock climbing and playing Settlers of Catan.


THE BOARD
The Board of Trustees is the governing body of The Ringers Brass. It shall determine the policies of the organization, manage the organization’s financial assets, and oversee the financial affairs of the organization. The Board shall ensure that The Ringers Brass conducts its affairs efficiently and effectively in pursuit of its mission.
